Designer Maria Teresa Tejada grew up in rural Peru near Lima, appreciating both traditional life and modern apparel. It took time, but eventually she realized her dream of working to preserve Peru’s traditional fibers and environment through textile production. This design can be worn as a hat when the drawstring is closed, or as a neck warmer when the drawstring is loosened. It is hand-knit from 100% undyed alpaca wool and will help keep you warm and very cozy.
